After finishing among the Top 10 in Nationwide Series points from 2009-2011, Wallace will attempt his first Nationwide Series start of 2013 this weekend at Charlotte, Rusty Wallace Racing PR reports.

Officials of Rusty Wallace Racing announced that the organization will make a return to the NASCAR Nationwide Series, campaigning the No. 66 Ford Mustang in a limited 2013 schedule. At the helm of the car will be 25 year-old Wallace, Rusty Wallace Racing PR reports.

Wallace will make his 2012 Nationwide Series debut at the helm of RWR's No. 4 Loanmax Ford in the April 27th Virginia 529 College Savings 250 at Richmond International Raceway, Rusty Wallace Racing PR reports.

Officials of Rusty Wallace Racing, LLC announced on Friday that the team's on-track activities will be put on a temporary hiatus. The team is currently assisting driver Wallace in exploring several exciting opportunities for 2012, with backing from his current RWR sponsors, rustywallace.com reports.

Rusty Wallace Racing, which will lose sponsor 5-Hour Energy after this season, is working with potential sponsors on a deal for Wallace, Rusty's son, to continue racing in the Nationwide Series, scenedaily.com reports.
