If you missed the Cody Ransom Era, here's how you can replicate the excitement. Chavez has some pop and a decent glove. If Omar Vizquel were to get hurt, he'd be in line for a job, and he wouldn't play very well.

Chavez made Baseball America's High-A All-Star team in 2003. He's displayed power and speed for the San Francisco brass, but also mixed in 25 errors and a .314 OBP in a hitters' league (California). In an organization bereft of position-player prospects, he looks a bit like one, but you have to squint, and maybe cross your eyes a little. Don't bother drafting him.
