Past Fantasy Outlooks
2004
2003
The Phillies' first-rounder from '94 finished a remarkable injury comeback in 2003. He suffered a stress fracture in his arm in 1998, a la Tony Saunders, then fell from a hunting bluff in 2000, which resulted in a compound fracture of his leg, and also had shoulder surgery in the same year. He found his way back to the majors in 2003, but the injuries have taken their toll on both his stuff and development. His appearance proved he's not a quality major leaguer and he'll likely begin the 2004 season back in Triple-A.
