Mavericks Looking For Second Straight Home Win
The Dallas Mavericks play host to the Chicago Bulls, at American Airlines Center on Monday evening.

The Mavericks (1-1) are coming off an impressive home win in their last contest, where they defeated the Timberwolves, 140-136, behind a strong performance from rookie Luka Doncic. Doncic tallied 26 points on 8-of-16 shooting, six rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block, in 36 minutes. DeAndre Jordan also came up big for his new team with 22 points, 10 rebounds, five blocks, two steals and one assist, in the win. Though it is very early on, the Mavericks are averaging an impressive 120 points per game. Harrison Barnes (hamstring) has yet to suit up for the Mavs, and remains questionable for action on Monday.

Meanwhile, the Bulls (0-2) have dropped their first two games of the season, but have shown good fight in both contests. They came up short by just two points in their last contest, where they fell, 118-116, at home versus the Pistons. Zach LaVine has had a great start to the season, averaging 31.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists so far, while Justin Holiday is averaging 14.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.5 assists. Through the first two games of the season, the Bulls have given up an average of 122.5 points per game. Lauri Markkanen (elbow) remains sidelined and is not expected back for a couple of weeks.
