2004 Fantasy Outlook
Kutluay is an excellent outside shooter, but it's hard to know what to expect from this Euroleague standout. Kutluay averaged 14 points during the 2003-04 Euroleague season while playing with Ulker Spor Kulbu Istanbul. And he scored 19 and 26 points in two games against Team USA while playing for the Turkish National Team. How he finds minutes at the 3 is another question. Rashard Lewis is the starter with Vladimir Radmanovic coming off the bench. It's too early to know if Kutluay is the next Pau Gasol or just another Euro stiff. Track his early season development and grab him if potential develops.
