Hill was reinstated by the NFL on Tuesday, NFL.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Hill last plugged the line in 2016, receiving multiple suspensions from the NFL that resulted in a ban for each of the last two campaigns. He's apparently been reinstated, but it remains to be seen whether the 31-year-old will find a spot on a 53-man roster. It wouldn't be surprising if a team was at least willing to give him a shot with a track record of production.

Hill should provide a large presence as Tennessee's nose tackle in 2015. The Stillman product recorded a career-high 34 tackles and three sacks in 15 starts last season, and has a chance to improve on those numbers at age 28.
Hill, who recorded 25 tackles in 13 games for the Titans in 2103, slots in as a reserve nose tackle.
Hill enters 2013 as the Titans starter at left defensive tackle. He'll be looking to live up to the $11.4 million contract the Titans gave him in the off season, and should be a good run stopper and pass rusher for Tennessee down the stretch.
Hill will give depth to a front-loaded Detroit defensive front.
Hill will come off the bench to give the Lions some depth along their defensive front.
