RB Overview
Role Security: High
6/19/25 - James Conner handled 236 carries, 55 targets, and 65% of the red zone work in 2024, and he should remain in that role this season. Trey Benson, who had 63 carries, six targets, and just 4% of red zone work, is expected to take on a larger role in Year 2. Emari Demercado and Michael Carter will compete for depth duties.
WR Overview
6/19/25 - Marvin Harrison will remain the clear No. 1 WR after earning 116 targets as a rookie. Michael Wilson should continue in the No. 2 role after seeing 71 targets in 2024. Greg Dortch is the starting slot WR, but frequent 2-TE sets held him to just 50 targets. Zay Jones, Xavier Weaver, and others are battling for reserve roles.
TE Overview
6/19/25 - Trey McBride led the team with 147 targets last season and should remain the top pass catcher, not just at tight end but possibly overall. Elijah Higgins saw 25 targets and is expected to return as the No. 2 pass-catching TE.
