RB Overview
Role Security: Medium
04/27/24 Free-agent signee Zack Moss is the favorite to dominate early-down and red-zone work. No. 2 RB Chase Brown should see change-of-pace carries along with passing-down work. Trayveon Williams and Chris Evans will likely battle for depth roles.
WR Overview
04/27/24 Ja'Marr Chase will continue to be the primary WR, seeing 10+ targets in many games. No. 2 WR Tee Higgins has been assigned the franchise tag and then requested a trade. Higgins could be a full-time player, on another team or possibly refusing to play without a new deal. Higgins has a complicated situation. The Bengals used the 80th pick in the 2024 draft to select Jermaine Burton. The rookie could be in position to win the primary slot role. In this offense, the slot receiver could play 70% of the snaps. Trenton Irwin and Andrei Iosivas will compete for snaps, as the Bengals use three-WR sets frequently.
TE Overview
04/27/24 Mike Gesicki profiles to be the top receiving TE. However, if Gesicki fails to have an impressive training camp, Tanner Hudson proved last year that he can be productive as a receiver. Fourth-round draft pick Eric All will likely look to carve out a depth role during training camp.
