New Orleans Saints RB Roles
Team: New Orleans Saints
Last Update:   4/27/2024
RB Overview
Role Security: High
04/27/24 Alvin Kamara is the lead RB and is expected to see work on passing downs as well as carries near the goal line. Jamaal Williams and Kendre Miller are likely to compete during training camp for change-of-pace duties. It's also possible that Williams and Miller share the backup role.
WR Overview
04/27/24 Chris Olave is the clear lead receiver. Olave will often see double-digit targets in games. Rashid Shaheed is currently the No. 2 WR. Shaheed could see an expanded role from what he had during the past two seasons. Cedrick Wilson and A.T. Perry are likely to compete for the No. 3 role during training camp. Fifth-round rookie Bub Means would need a strong training camp to push Perry or Wilson for work.
TE Overview
04/27/24 Juwan Johnson is the primary receiving TE. Although Taysom Hill doesn't really have a true position, in fantasy football, he is a tight end. For that purpose, Hill should continue to see targets and rushing attempts while also throwing an occasional pass. Hill frequently sees work near the goal line. His weekly role is often unpredictable.
