8/17/25 -Alvin Kamara is expected to handle lead running back duties and play on all three downs. Free-agent addition Cam Akers, Devin Neal and Kendre Miller will also compete for backfield roles.
WR Overview
8/17/25 -Chris Olave should return to No. 1 wide receiver duties after missing much of last season with concussions. Rashid Shaheed, recovering from a knee injury, should reclaim the WR2 role if healthy. Brandin Cooks and Bub Means are the top candidates for the No. 3 and No. 4 spots. Kevin Austin and Cedrick Wilson add depth.
TE Overview
8/17/25 - Juwan Johnson should remain the top tight end after averaging 5.5 targets per game from Week 13 on last season. Foster Moreau is set to return as the No. 2 TE while Taysom Hill recovers from a late-season knee injury.
