Atlanta Falcons RB Roles
Team: Atlanta Falcons
Last Update:   4/27/2024
RB Overview
Role Security: Very High
04/27/24 Bijan Robinson is the lead RB, who is likely to play on all three downs. Robinson will likely take the lead in the red zone. No. 2 RB Tyler Allgeier is expected to see change-of-pace rushing attempts, but Allgeier could see fewer carries than he did when Arthur Smith was in charge of the offense.Sixth-round rookie Jase McClellan and Avery Williams will compete for depth roles.
WR Overview
04/27/24 Drake London will be the primary receiver. London could see a significant increase in targets with Kirk Cousins now playing QB. Darnell Mooney was added in free agency. Look for Mooney to be a starter playing across from London. It seems likely that Mooney will play most of the time. After acquiring Rondale Moore in a trade, Moore should see work as a slot receiver. In addition, Moore could see work in a gadget role, which could include rushing attempts. Sixth-round rookie Casey Washington will compete for a depth spot.
TE Overview
04/27/24 Kyle Pitts should be a full-time player. With Atlanta potentially having a higher-volume passing attack than in past years, Pitts could see significant target volume.
