Baltimore Ravens RB Roles
Team: Baltimore Ravens
Last Update:   4/27/2024
RB Overview
Role Security: High
04/27/24 Derrick Henry was added in free agency, and he's expected to be the primary ball carrier on early downs and in the red zone. Justice Hill should see work on passing downs along with occasional rushing attempts. After tearing his ACL in December, it seems unlikely that Keaton Mitchell will be ready for a significant role early in the season. Once Mitchell is healthy, he should serve as the change-of-pace RB to Henry. Fifth-round rookie Rasheen Ali will compete for a depth role.
WR Overview
04/27/24 Zay Flowers enters the season as the primary receiver, who should play a full-time role. According to coach John Harbaugh, Rashod Bateman is expected to be the starter across from Flowers. Currently, Nelson Agholor is the favorite to play in three-receiver sets. The Ravens used the No. 113 pick to select Devontez Walker in the 2024 draft. The rookie profiles as a deep threat. With a good camp, Walker could push Agholor for a more prominent role in three-receiver sets.
TE Overview
04/27/24 Mark Andrews should resume his role as the primary receiving TE for the Ravens. After playing well in Andrews' absence last year, Isaiah Likely will work to see meaningful snaps as a receiver. However, if the coaching staff prefers leaning on three-receiver sets, there may not be many opportunities for Likely.
