Closer Watch
Detroit - Drew Smyly tossed four perfect innings in relief of Doug Fister on Friday, picking up a save the long way Friday afternoon. If nothing else, it was just a reminder that he would be an intriguing pickup in most formats if the Tigers need to move him back into their rotation at some point this season.

Recommended Pickup
Bartolo Colon, SP, OAK - As my friends at the Fantasy 411 Cory Schwartz and Mike Siano like to say, it's Pitch and Ditch with Colon. The Astros' offense is a struggle bus at this point, and owners everywhere should take advantage. Last season, Colon held the opposition to two earned runs or less in 15 of his 24 starts. Even as a veteran relying on his ability to locate pitches rather than simply blow everything by hitters, Colon is fit for streaming in this matchup. Frankly, Colon isn't really "fit" for anything else.
