St. Louis – It looks like Fernando Salas is settling into the closer role nicely, as evidenced by another successful save conversion on Saturday. He has not been scored upon in his last seven appearances.

Josh Outman, P, OAK – Outman will be called up Monday to make his first major league start since 2009. Outman appeared to put things together that year, posting a 3.48 ERA and 1.16 WHIP in 14 appearances, but Tommy John surgery ended his season prematurely and also cost him all of 2010. Things have not been so pretty in Triple-A, as Outman has been bothered by 27 walks in 37.2 innings, but if Outman can regain his control, he should be serviceable in deeper formats.
