FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

Tuesday brings six games in the NBA with several bad teams in action, including the Bulls, Nets and Kings. While there aren't a lot of great games, there is still plenty of excitement to be had on FanDuel. The players below all have favorable matchups and could help you bring home some money.

Guards

Damian Lillard, POR vs. SAC ($10,000): Lillard has had a high ceiling lately, scoring at least 58.5 FanDuel points in three of his last five games. His 30.3% usage rate ranks inside the top-10 in the league and also marks his third straight season with a usage rate of at least 30%. He exploded for 50 points in just 29 minutes against the Kings when they met earlier this month and could be in line for another big performance Tuesday.

Nicolas Batum, CHA vs. CHI ($7,000): The Hornets have won four games in a row and are surprisingly only four games out of the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference. Batum has played well during their recent run of success, scoring at least 30.5 FanDuel points in each contest. The Bulls allow the fourth-most FanDuel points per game (42.8) to opposing shooting guards, making Batum someone to consider for your lineup.

Tyler Johnson, MIA vs. PHI ($4,700): Johnson might not be a flashy player, but he's continued to be productive, scoring at least 27.2 FanDuel points in three of his last five games. The Sixers play at the fifth-fastest pace (101.5 possessions per game) in the league, which could leave Johnson with a few extra chances to produce Tuesday. At this price, he's worth considering if you want to save money at point guard.

Forwards

Giannis Antetokounmpo, MIL vs. WAS ($11,000): Giannis had a bad game by his standards Sunday against the Pelicans, finishing with only 39.8 FanDuel points. He had scored at least 51.5 FanDuel points in three of his previous four games, so chalk it up to just one bad performance. He's dominated the Wizards in three previous meetings this season, averaging 28 points, 13.3 rebounds, 5.7 assists and three blocks. Although he'll eat up a significant portion of your budget, he still should be worth it.

Skal Labissiere, SAC at POR ($5,400): Labissiere has played in each of the Kings last three games after returning from a shoulder injury and logged 31 minutes Monday against the Timberwolves. He looks to be fine moving forward and should get plenty of playing time down the stretch as the Kings give more minutes to their young players. He scored 20 points and grabbed four rebounds Monday, making him someone to consider at this reasonable price.

David Nwaba, CHI at CHA ($4,800): Nwaba has started and played at least 31 minutes in each of the last three games for the Bulls and should be locked into that role for the immediate future. He scored 39.8 FanDuel points in his first start, but scored 22.8 and 20.2 FanDuel points in the last two games, respectively. Those two games are probably closer to what we should expect from him moving forward, but that still puts him in the discussion at this price Tuesday.

Centers

Dwight Howard, CHA vs. CHI ($8,500): The only player the Bulls have that even has a chance of battling with Howard is Robin Lopez. However, he's been benched to give Cristiano Felicio more playing time. Felicio couldn't stop Jarrett Allen of the Nets on Monday, who posted 18 points and nine rebounds in just 23 minutes. Howard has already recorded a double-double in four of his last five games and may be in line for an extremely productive game Tuesday.

DeAndre Jordan, LAC at DEN ($8,300): With the Clippers moving to a small lineup after trading Blake Griffin to the Pistons, Jordan is going to get all the rebounds he can handle. He hasn't disappointed, grabbing at least 13 rebounds in 10 straight games. He's even scored more lately as well, averaging 16.6 points in his last five games. The Clippers play at the sixth-fastest pace (101) in the league, which only helps Jordan pad his stats.

Jarrett Allen, BKN at CLE ($5,400): Allen has played 26 minutes or less in each of his last five games, but still managed to score at least 24.8 FanDuel points in three of those contests. With Tyler Zeller now on the Bucks and Jahlil Okafor continuing to struggle, Allen should at least continue to start as the season comes to a close. The Cavaliers have struggled defensively and there aren't a lot of great cheap centers Tuesday, which at least makes Allen someone to consider for your entry.
