FanDuel NBA: Saturday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Saturday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

Guards

Terry Rozier, BOS at PHI ($8,800): Scary Terry has become one of the breakout stars of these playoffs, and he's making Boston fans forget the fact that they're without two perennial All-Stars in this series. Since taking over starting point guard duties for Kyrie Irving (knee), Rozier ranks top-three on the team in usage rate, shots taken, minutes played, scoring and assists. That's an impressive resume, and he's averaging 39.7 FanDuel points per game in these playoffs. He's been even better against the Sixers, scoring 102.5 combined fantasy points in the first two games of this series.

J.J. Redick, PHI vs. BOS ($5,800): Redick has scored at least 27 fantasy points in four straight games, and he played at least 32 minutes in all of those outings as well. Surprisingly, Redick still remains below $6,000 -- DeMar DeRozan, by comparison, is barely averaging more than that and is $3,000 more than Redick. Not to mention, Redick has had success against Boston all season long, averaging 31 fantasy points per game in three outings against the Celtics in the regular season.

George Hill, CLE vs. TOR ($4,200): It's rare to see a starting point guard priced below $5,000, and Hill makes for a nice pair with LeBron James. Not only did he average 20 FanDuel points per game with the Cavaliers in the regular season, Hill played nearly 30 minutes a game, as well. His 32 minutes per game in the last two outings indicate that he's the go-to point guard, which is a reliable role for a $4,200 player. Toronto has really struggled defensively in these playoffs, posting a 114.4 defensive rating, the worst mark of any of the remaining teams.

Forwards

LeBron James, CLE vs. TOR ($14,000): This might be the highest price tag I've ever seen on FanDuel, but King James has earned that with his ridiculous play. Not only has James surpassed 63 fantasy points in five of his last six outings, but he's averaging over 71 fantasy points per game in this series. That's worth the price tag no matter how crazy it may be, as no other player on this slate averaged more than 43 fantasy points per game in the regular season.

Kevin Love, CLE vs. TOR ($7,500): Love is coming off a 31-point, 11-rebound gem in his most recent outing, a stat line that was more indicative of his regular season form. Love averaged over 33 FanDuel points per game in the regular season, and that number jumps to nearly 40 fantasy points per game in five meetings with the Raptors this season, who have cycled through numerous players trying to figure out who to match up with him.

Jeff Green, CLE vs. TOR ($4,000): Green has been the best bench player in this series, but FanDuel is clearly slow to react to his expanded role. Not only has he played at least 20 minutes in six-straight games, Green is averaging 27 fantasy points per game in his last two outings. He actually ranks third among Cleveland regulars in usage rate in that span too, sitting behind only James and Love. That's as good as it gets for a $4,000 player, as he makes it much easier to get James into your lineup.

Centers

Joel Embiid, PHI vs. BOS ($10,000): Embiid has been incredibly consistent in these playoffs, as he has at least 40 fantasy points in his five games since returning from injury. He's averaging over 51 fantasy points per game though the first two games of the series, and Embiid's 31 percent usage rate since returning from a facial fracture indicates that much of the offense is ran through him when he's on the floor.

Al Horford, BOS at PHI ($7,500): Horford has been one of the best centers in these playoffs, as his mid-season slump is a thing of the past. Not only does he have at least 32 fantasy points in 10 of his last 11 games, but Horford is averaging nearly 40 FanDuel points per game in his last six outings. He ranks third on the team in usage rate in his last five games (23 percent), and Philly allowed the seventh-most fantasy points to opposing centers in the regular season, which only adds to Horford's utility.
