FanDuel NBA: Monday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Monday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

We could see the end of both Eastern Conference series Monday with the Celtics and Cavaliers looking to sweep past their respective opponents. Let's try to add even more excitement to the evening with a winning lineup on FanDuel.

GUARDS

Terry Rozier, BOS at PHI ($8,900): Rozier had just three assists in Game 3, but he still provided enough production in other areas to score 36.9 FanDuel points. He played 44 minutes in the overtime win and is averaging 37 minutes per game in the playoffs overall, giving him a high floor most nights. Rozier is the highest priced point guard Monday, but he should be worth it.

Marcus Smart, BOS at PHI ($6,200): Smart continues to see plenty of playing time for the Celtics, logging at least 31 minutes in all three games of this series despite the return of Jaylen Brown the last two games. He's scored at least 28.1 FanDuel points in two of the three contests despite scoring less than 10 points in a game twice. He provides value defensively and can chip in with assists as well, so he is someone to consider at this mid-tier price.

Kyle Korver, CLE vs. TOR ($4,600): Korver has had some big offensive performances in the playoffs this year, scoring at least 18 points four times. His overall upside isn't high due to his inability to provide much in other areas, but he has scored at least 22.9 FanDuel points in two of the three games against the Raptors. There aren't a ton of cheap value plays due to the limited schedule and shorter playoff rotations, but Korver might be one worth taking a chance on.

FORWARDS

LeBron James, CLE vs. TOR ($14,500): James continues to be a one man wrecking crew. Not only has he scored at least 63.7 FanDuel points in all three games against the Raptors, but he continues to come up big in clutch situations. He has logged at least 40 minutes in all but one contest during his playoff run this season and is a threat to post a triple-double every night, making him an excellent option to build your entry around.

Kevin Love, CLE vs. TOR ($7,800): Love has come back to life, scoring at least 48.2 FanDuel points in both of the last two games. He seems to have found his shooting stroke over that stretch, going a combined 18-for-35 (51.4%) from the field. He has at least 11 rebounds in each game of this series as well, so he could provide excellent value if his shot is falling again in Game 4.

C.J. Miles, TOR at CLE ($3,700): With so many high-end players available Monday, we need to continue to look for cheap options to help balance out your budget. Miles had his best performance of the playoffs in Game 3, scoring 23.7 FanDuel points. That's probably close to best-case-scenario from him, but he has provided value by scoring at least 15.5 FanDuel points in five of the Raptors nine playoff games.

CENTERS

Joel Embiid, PHI vs. BOS ($10,300): Embiid is having a monster series, scoring at least 48.3 FanDuel points in each game. He has attempted 69 total shots, so expect him to continue to have a high usage rate as the Sixers look to stave off elimination. With at least 13 rebounds in all three games as well, Embiid may have the highest upside of anyone outside of James for the evening.

Al Horford, BOS at PHI ($7,200): Horford isn't flashy, but he continues to churn out numbers, scoring at least 32 FanDuel points in all but one playoff game this season. He has had a few big offensive performances, but most of his value comes from his ability to contribute in multiple categories. It gives him a high floor even when he's not scoring a lot, making him a prime target at center if you can't fit Embiid into your budget.
