DraftKings NBA: Tuesday Cheat Sheet

DraftKings NBA: Tuesday Cheat Sheet

This article is part of our DraftKings NBA series.

Guards

Jrue Holiday, NOP vs. LAC ($7,400): The guard position on this slate is one of the toughest of the season, and Holiday may end up being the highest priced guard if Ben Simmons (back) doesn't suit up. Holiday has struggled, relatively speaking, and is still averaging 36 fantasy points per game. He put up over 40 fantasy points per game for the majority of last season. Plus, the Clippers have really struggled against shooting guards early on, allowing the fifth-most fantasy points to the position so far this season.

Reggie Jackson, DET vs. PHI ($5,800): Jackson has been too good to be priced below $6,000. He's scored more than 29 fantasy points in each of his first two games. and is averaging 32 minutes, while posting a 22 percent usage rate. That's more indicative of the Jackson who was a $7,000 player in the past, and he could be in position to benefit from the Sixers (likely) being short-handed in the backcourt.

Lou Williams, LAC at NOP ($5,200): While Williams has been playing at this price level so far this season, it's simply too cheap for someone of his ability. While his offensive responsibilities were elevated last season due to injuries, he still leads the team with 27 percent usage rate this season while averaging 13 shots per game. Facing a New Orleans team that wants to get up and down the floor, Williams should have plenty of opportunities Tuesday.

Forwards

Anthony Davis, NOP vs. LAC ($11,400): Davis is simply the best player in fantasy basketball right now. The MVP candidate is he averaging over 60 fantasy points per game since last year's All-Star break, and he's putting up 66 DraftKings points per game so far this season. He absolutely destroyed the Clippers last year, averaging 29.8 points, 11.5 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 3.0 steals and 2.3 blocks in four matchups. That sort of upside on a three-game slate is very difficult to pass up, especially considering you get to use Davis at a shallow forward position.

Nemanja Bjelica, SAC at DEN ($4,600): Bjelica has been a surprise start for the Kings in their first two games, as he's been one of the sneakiest DFS players this season. It's his upside that really makes him a great option, as Bjelica has at least 33 fantasy points in two of his three games. That's nearly 8X value which is simply too high to pass up on in a three-game schedule. While Denver currently has the number-one defense in the league right now, that statistic is sure to regress considering the Nuggets ranked 24th in defensive efficiency last season.

Centers

Nikola Jokic, DEN vs. SAC ($9,700): It's crazy that Jokic is still a four-figure player, as he's been playing at a five-figure level since the end of last season. Jokic is averaging 57 fantasy points per game this year, and he dropped a ridiculous 82.5 fantasy points in a game last week, going 11-of-11 from the field en route to a triple-double. Tuesday's matchup may be the best reason to use Jokic, though, considering the Kings ranked 27th in defensive efficiency last season while allowing the fifth-most DraftKings points to opposing centers this year.

Paul Millsap, DEN vs. SAC ($6,200): Millsap's scoring may drive fantasy owners away but now's the time to pounce on him with this unbelievably low price tag. While he's only averaging 10 real points per game, Millsap is still averaging 31 DraftKings points per game. That means that he's stuffing the stat sheet in other areas. The veteran hauled in 26 rebounds over his first two games, and while he put up a dud Sunday against Golden State, he still managed three steals and a block.
