FanDuel NBA: Wednesday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Wednesday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

Wednesday's NBA slate features 10 games beginning at 7:00 PM Eastern time. Read on to see which players stand out as the best values at their respective prices. FanDuel's format only counts the eight highest scores in your nine-player lineup, so keep that in mind when making your selections.

POINT GUARD

Kemba Walker, CHA vs. ATL ($9,700): Walker's shown the ability to carry fantasy lineups when he's on, topping 50.0 fantasy points in four of his past 10 games, including a 77.4 fantasy point outburst. Hawks rookie point guard Trae Young is as bad on defense as anyone getting regular minutes in the NBA right now and Atlanta's giving up a league-worst 118.5 points per game overall, so Kemba's ceiling is immense in this one.

Emmanuel Mudiay, NY at PHI ($5,700): Mudiay's averaging 30.0 fantasy points over the past three games, and he should be fresh for this second leg of a doubleheader after playing only 22 minutes Tuesday. The reclamation project's price will rise if he continues his recent success, so he's worth locking in at $5,700 against a 76ers team that's surrendering 114.1 points per game.

SHOOTING GUARD

Eric Gordon, HOU vs. DAL ($5,500): Gordon has thrived as a starter with Chris Paul sidelined by a leg injury in the past two games, averaging 32.0 PPG in 41 minutes. He's scored 38.4 and 40.4 fantasy points in those contests, and Gordon's primed for another strong offensive performance with Paul very much questionable Wednesday night.

Donovan Mitchell, UTA at BKN ($7,900): This is a nice buy-low opportunity on Mitchell, who's cheaper than seven other shooting guards in this slate after missing the past two games with a rib injury. He was rounding into form prior to getting hurt, scoring 43.9 or more fantasy points in three of his last four full games. Cleared to return for this one, Mitchell's primed to pick up right where he left of against a Nets team that's lost seven of its last nine games while allowing over 120 points per game in those seven losses.

SMALL FORWARD

E'Twaun Moore, NO vs. WAS ($5,400): Moore's been handed an extended role by Elfrid Payton's broken pinky finger, averaging 31 minutes per game over the past five. The gifted scorer has capitalized on that increased playing time, recording 33.9 or more fantasy points in three of those five contests. Moore's set up for another strong performance against a Wizards team that's allowing 117.9 points per game -- second-most in the league.

Jabari Parker, CHI at MIL ($7,400): Parker enters this revenge game against his former team in the midst of a terrific four-game stretch, during which the second overall pick from the 2014 draft is averaging 22.0 PPG and 10.0 RPG while scoring at least 38.0 fantasy points in every game. Finally looking healthy for the first time in a long time, Parker might be making a long-awaited leap to the next level. If that's the case, he won't be available at just $7,400 for much longer.

POWER FORWARD

LaMarcus Aldridge, SA at MIN ($8,500): Aldridge is primed to outproduce the pair of Clippers priced in his range (Tobias Harris at $8,400 and Montrezl Harrell at $8,300). The veteran big man offers a more consistent combination of scoring and rebounding than those other guys, which is why he's scored 39.7 or more fantasy points in five of the past seven games. Minnesota allows the sixth-most rebounds per game at 56.1, while the Suns team Harris and Harrell are facing actually gives up the 11th-fewest (53.3).

Larry Nance, CLE at OKC ($6,000): Nance started in place of David Nwaba (knee) and played 38 minutes Monday, contributing a well-rounded 12 points, eight rebounds and seven assists for 39.1 fantasy points. That effort likely earned Nance more frontcourt minutes regardless of Nwaba's ability to recover from his sore knee ahead of this game. Nance should be a solid option at $6,000 either way, but he'll certainly see a boost should Nwaba sit out altogether.

CENTER

Enes Kanter, NY at PHI ($8,000): Kanter's forced his way back into getting big minutes with tremendous output offensively and on the glass, averaging 18.0 PPG and 17.0 RPG in 36 minutes per game over the past three. His floor is a bit lower than usual against Joel Embiid and the 76ers, but Kanter's three performances with at least 21 points and 19 rebounds this season show that his ceiling remains immense relative to his $8,000 valuation. That price has been weighed down by Kanter's extensive stint in a bench role, which appears to be in the rearview mirror.
