Kings Host Bulls on Monday
The Sacramento Kings play host to the Chicago Bulls at Golden 1 Center on Monday.

The Bulls (6-14) have just two wins over their last nine games and one of them was a downright miracle. It's not like they beat anyone impressive in those two victories either, defeating the Charlotte Hornets and Detroit Pistons. That says a lot about where this team is at right now and it's a wonder if they'll compete for a playoff berth after this terrible start. Many experts had them pegged as a breakout team but there's been a ton of animosity for whatever reason. Many fingers are pointed towards the head coach, with Jim Boylen making one strange decision after another. There's too much talent on this team to be playing this poorly and something needs to change sooner rather than later.

The Kings (8-10) looked headed to a disastrous season when they lost their first five games and suffered injuries to De'Aaron Fox and Marvin Bagley but they've quietly been really good recently. In fact, they own an 8-5 record since that terrible start. Players like Bogdan Bogdanovic and Richaun Holmes have been incredible filling in for those two injured guys while Harrison Barnes and Buddy Hield have been taking care of most of the scoring load. That's been their major issue though, as this offense has regressed big time since last season. In fact, they currently rank 28th in points scored and 23rd in assists, which is way off of their impressive averages last season. If they can continue to improve on that while playing some solid defense, this will be a team to fear when Fox and Bagley return in the near future.

Sacramento has won each of the last two season series over Chicago, winning four-straight in total. Prior to that, the Bulls won their previous five games over the Kings.
