FanDuel NBA: Tuesday-Wednesday Contests

FanDuel NBA: Tuesday-Wednesday Contests

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

The Conference finals are finally upon us, and although there are only four teams left, there is still an opportunity to play FanDuel with a Tuesday-Wednesday contest. Let's take a look at some of the better bargains available to turn two days of fun into a big payday.

Tuesday-Wednesday Value Plays

Point Guard

Dennis Schroder, $4,400, ATL: Schroder saw increased playing time toward the end of the Hawks' second-round series against the Wizards as he played at least 22 minutes in each of the last three games. He was able to produce well in the series, putting up at least 20 FanDuel points in five of the six games. Even though he's not a starter, he's been a great facilitator off of the bench as he dished out at least four assists in all six games of the series. With Kyrie Irving (knee) not completely healthy and no other elite point guards on the Cavaliers' roster, Schroder is a strong play considering his salary Wednesday.

Shooting Guard

Iman Shumpert, $4,800, CLE: Shumpert dealt with some groin issues against the Bulls but was able to get some rest after the Cavaliers won the series in six games. His defensive numbers boost his value. He had eight steals and six blocks in the series. Although Shumpert had a couple of rough games in the series when he was battling his groin issue, he was solid overall by posting at least 30.9 FanDuel points in three of the six games. There isn't much risk considering his salary, making him a solid option.

Small Forward

Trevor Ariza, $6,300, HOU: Ariza was stellar against the Clippers as he scored at least 15 points and posted at least 33 FanDuel points in five of the seven games in the series. He was also a defensive monster as he recorded 15 steals in the series. The Rockets always lean on him to play big minutes. He played at least 35 minutes in six of the seven games against the Clippers. While Ariza is not available at a bargain salary Tuesday, he's not too costly considering his ceiling.

Power Forward

Tristan Thompson, $5,400, CLE: Thompson was a monster on the glass against the Bulls as he grabbed at least 10 rebounds in four of the six games in the series. Not only was he a great rebounder, but he also scored at least 10 points in each of the last four games. The Cavaliers don't have much depth up front, resulting in Thompson playing at least 39 minutes in three of the last four games against the Bulls. He was able to produce at least 26.0 FanDuel points three times in the series and could be in for another nice performance in Game 1 Wednesday.

Center

Andrew Bogut, $5,200, GS: I think both Dwight Howard ($9,000) and Al Horford ($7,900) are great plays, but Bogut should be your man if you want to go the cheap route at center. The Warriors are going to need him to step up against Howard, so he could see plenty of playing time if he can stay out of foul trouble. That's a big if though. His defensive prowess is a big help for his value as he blocked 10 shots over the last three games of the series against the Grizzlies. Although he didn't top 28.8 FanDuel points in any of the games against the Grizzlies, I still think he has the ability to have a solid performance Tuesday considering his low salary.
