FanDuel NBA: Wednesday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Wednesday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

Wednesday night consists of a packed schedule in the NBA with 10 games. There is no time to waste with so many options to mull over, so here are some of the better value plays to consider on FanDuel.

Point Guard
Trey Burke, UTA at POR ($4,600):
You might not think Burke is a strong choice Wednesday considering he has failed to produce more than 15.7 FanDuel points in any of his last three games. I'm inclined to still give him a shot. He had a stretch before that where he recorded at least 22.5 FanDuel points in five of six games. The Trailblazers are not an elite team by any means, so I think Burke can still provide value at this price despite his recent struggles.

Donald Sloan, BKN vs. NY ($3,700): If you want to go really cheap at point guard, I think Sloan is your man. I've always liked Sloan and his ability to accumulate assists when given increased playing time, but those opportunities have been few and far between throughout his career. He has dished out at least five assists in each of his last three games despite playing no more than 24 minutes in any of those contests. Although he only posted 10.5 FanDuel points against the Spurs Monday, he is playing a far easier opponent in the Knicks Wednesday. Sloan has the potential to out produce his price tag in this game.

Shooting Guard
Arron Afflalo, NY at BKN ($4,700):
Afflalo has put up some big numbers of late, recording at least 29.1 FanDuel points in three of his last six games. He has been given plenty of opportunities to produce as he has played at least 40 minutes in three of his last four games. The Knicks take on the dreadful Nets Wednesday, so Afflalo could have a big night considering his bargain price.

Small Forward
Shabazz Muhammad, MIN at HOU ($3,800):
I recommended Muhammad Tuesday against the Thunder and he didn't disappoint by posting 26.3 FanDuel points at close to the minimum price. He has now recorded at least 20.3 FanDuel points in six of his last seven games. I'm ready to give him another shot Wednesday against the Rockets.

Power Forward
Kristaps Porzingis, NY at BKN ($6,300):
Porzingis is not an extremely cheap option Wednesday against the Nets, but he still has the potential to produce at a level that exceeds this price. After posting 44.2 FanDuel points Tuesday against the Celtics, Porzingis has now recorded at least 40.2 FanDuel points in two of his last three games. Don't be surprised if he really eats up the Nets in this contest.

Derrick Williams, NY at BKN ($4,000): I'm going out on a limb with Williams largely because the Nets are that bad. Williams should be able to produce even in limited minutes, something he has done of late by recording at least 21.3 FanDuel points in three of his last games. Going with a Knicks stack at power forward Wednesday could result in a nice pay day.

Center
Amir Johnson, BOS vs. IND ($4,900):
Like I did with Muhammand, I'm doubling up with Johnson after he came through Tuesday with 24.2 FanDuel points. He's not going to blow the roof off Wednesday against the Pacers, but he has now produced at least 21.2 FanDuel points in each of his last six games, making him a reliable option at a low price.
