FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

Tuesday night brings a light slate of action in the NBA as there are only five games scheduled. But there are still plenty of value plays available on FanDuel even with so few teams in action. Consider these players when crafting your lineup.

Point Guard

Marcus Smart, BOS at NY ($5,700): Smart has been on a role of late as he has posted at least 30.4 FanDuel points in four of his last five games. Not only has he been a reliable scorer recently, but he has also been excellent defensively by recording at least two steals in each of his last five games. There aren't many great cheap options at point guard Tuesday, but I'd go with Smart if you want to save some money at the position.

Shooting Guard

Devin Booker, PHO vs. TOR ($5,200): Although the Suns are in disarray, Booker has been a consistent contributor, scoring at least 15 points in six of their last seven games. He has been solid for fantasy players as well as he has recorded at least 24.5 FanDuel points in six of seven games as well. The Suns don't have a ton of quality options, so Booker should get plenty of opportunities to out produce his price Tuesday.

Zach LaVine, MIN at LAL ($4,700): LaVine has been a valuable contributor lately as he has recorded at least 20.4 FanDuel points in each of his last four games. While he doesn't provide a ton of rebounds or assists, he has been aggressive offensively by scoring at least 19 points in three of his last four games. The Lakers are averaging 106.2 points allowed per game, so don't be surprised if LaVine has a big night.

Small Forward

Evan Turner, BOS at NY ($5,200): Turner's ability to provide well-rounded stat lines has been on display recently as he has recorded at least 20.5 FanDuel points in six of his last seven games. Turner has been very efficient as well as all of his production has come despite the fact that he has played 27 minutes or less in six of his last eight games. Even with limited playing time, I think he can provide enough value to be worth a shot at this price on a night where there is a light schedule.

Corey Brewer, HOU vs. MIA ($3,600): Brewer doesn't look like a strong play on the surface as he has produced 12.6 FanDuel points or less in three of his last five games. However, he is finally getting consistent playing time as he has played at least 30 minutes in four of his last six games. The Heat might be without Hassan Whiteside (oblique) again Tuesday, which could result in some smaller lineups than normal. I think Brewer has a chance to put up around 20 FanDuel points in this game, which would make him a valuable option at almost the minimum price.

Power Forward

Julius Randle, LAL vs. MIN ($6,100): I normally like to dig deep and recommend someone further down the price list with my value plays, but power forward isn't especially deep Tuesday. That brings me to Randle, who has posted a double-double in four of his last six games. He has taken full advantage of increased playing time with Larry Nance Jr. (knee) out of action, posting at least 30.3 FanDuel points in three of his last six games. I think he can at least approach that production again Tuesday.

Center

Gorgui Dieng, MIN at LAL ($5,500): The Lakers are really bad up front and are allowing an average of 47.3 rebounds a game, worst in the NBA. Dieng has picked up his production on the glass of late as he has grabbed at least nine rebounds in each of his last three games. He has provided excellent all-around production of late that has resulted in at least 24.2 FanDuel points in each of his last four games. I'm expecting a big night from Dieng in this one.
