FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

As the regular season starts to come to an end, this is one of the crazier times of the season when it comes to daily fantasy sports. With injuries mounting up across the league and players being rested because their team is either out of contention or has locked up a playoff berth, crafting your FanDuel lineup can be tricky. Here are some of the better value plays available Tuesday to hopefully make this task a little easier.

Point Guard
Shane Larkin, BKN at ORL ($3,700):
To say the Nets are out of the playoff picture is an understatement. They are trying out different lineup combinations down the stretch and Larkin is getting extra minutes right now, playing at least 27 minutes in each of his last three games. He has taken full advantage of the increased playing time by recording at least 24.6 FanDuel points in all three of those games. Expect him to put up similar production Tuesday, giving him great value at almost the minimum price.

Shooting Guard
Jeremy Lin, CHA at PHI ($4,200):
Lin has really stepped up his game of late, providing at least 25.8 FanDuel points in three of his last four games. While known more for his offensive abilities, Lin does have at least one steal in four of his last five games. He likely won't be facing a ton of resistance against the lowly Sixers Tuesday, making him worth consideration at this bargain price.

Courtney Lee, CHA at PHI ($4,100): Lee has played very well for the Hornets of late, posting at least 21.3 FanDuel points in four of his last five games. Although he has only scored in double digits twice over those five games, he has been a big contributor defensively with nine steals and three blocks total. Lin and Lee could be a nice cheap stack at shooting guard if you'd like to spend your money at other positions.

Small Forward
Bojan Bogdanovic, BKN at ORL ($5,000):
Bogdanovic had a rough outing Monday against the Heat by scoring only nine points to go along with one rebound in 24 minutes, but before that he had scored at least 18 points in five of his previous six games. He provides the Nets with a nice offensive spark and has produced at least 22.4 FanDuel points in six of his last eight games. There is a chance he could explode offensively any given night, giving him nice upside at this price Tuesday.

Hollis Thompson, PHI vs. CHA, ($4,500): When I build my lineups, I like to get at least one cheap option that I feel like even though his upside isn't huge, his floor is high enough where he can really help. Thompson is that guy, providing at least 21 FanDuel points in six of his last seven games. His defensive contributions should not be overlooked as he has five steals and four blocks over his last six games. Expect Thompson to come through with another serviceable line Tuesday.

Power Forward
Myles Turner, IND vs. CHI ($5,700):
Don't forget to play power forwards and centers against the Bulls! The Bulls continue to struggle defending fours and fives, which was evident again Monday against the Hawks when Paul Millsap scored 11 points to go along with 11 rebounds, three assists and six blocks, while Al Horford had 14 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and one block. Turner has produced at least 26.1 FanDuel points in three of his last five games, so expect a big performance from him Tuesday.

Center
Ian Mahinmi, IND vs. CHI ($5,100):
I'm going to lean on the Bulls bad interior defense again with Mahinmi Tuesday. Not only is this a juicy matchup, but Mahinmi has been hot of late by providing at least 22 FanDuel points in three of his last four games and at least 33 FanDuel points in both of his last two games. I'm not hesitating to play Mahinmi at this price.
