FanDuel NBA: Wednesday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Wednesday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

Wednesday is a busy night in the NBA with 10 games on the schedule. While there are several good teams in action, the highlight of the evening is a matchup between the Warriors and the Clippers. While that should be a fun one, coming away with some cash on FanDuel makes for a great evening overall. Let's take a look at some of the better options available when creating your entry.

James Harden, HOU vs LAL ($11,700): Harden has been an excellent option this season as he is averaging 52.9 FanDuel points per game. While he turns the ball over a ton, he still provides enough across the board to result in elite production. Harden went off for 62.9 FanDuel points in a game earlier this year against these same Lakers, so I'm expecting another big performance Wednesday.

Lou Williams, LAL at HOU ($6,100): The Lakers have been decimated by injuries at guard, which has resulted in increased playing time for Williams. He has stepped up in a big way, posting at least 45.9 FanDuel points in each of his last two games. He is clearly one of the focal points of the team's offense right now and should put up another excellent stat line Wednesday.

Emmanuel Mudiay, DEN at BKN ($5,200): Mudiay had a bad performance in his last outing Monday against the Sixers, but he had posted at least 20.6 FanDuel points in five straight games heading into that contest. He is averaging 13.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 0.9 steals per game this season, so he has the ability to put up some well-rounded numbers. If you are looking for a cheaper point guard option Wednesday, I like this matchup for Mudiay against the Nets.

LeBron James, CLE at NY ($9,600): James is having yet another great season as he is averaging 23.9 points, 7.7 rebounds and 9.2 assists per game. You could make an argument for playing James on FanDuel just about every night, but I really like this matchup against the Knicks. He posted a triple-double on his way to 51.2 FanDuel points against the Knicks earlier this season. It's hard not to expect similar production Wednesday at The Garden.

Harrison Barnes, DAL vs SAC ($6,400): The Mavericks continue to rely heavily on Barnes, s heis averaging a career-high 38 minutes per game. He has come through in a big way in his new role, averaging 20.9 points and 5.8 rebounds overall. Sacramento is not a very good defensive team, so look for Barnes to have plenty of opportunities to produce in this contest. Don't be surprised if he surpasses his season average of 30.4 FanDuel points per game.

Dwight Powell, DAL vs SAC ($3,900):Andrew Bogut (knee) is out of action for about two weeks, opening up some extra minutes for Powell who can play both power forward and center. Powell has been productive of late, recording at least 25.4 FanDuel points in both of his last two games. The price is right to take a chance on him Wednesday if you need to save money at power forward.

DeMarcus Cousins, SAC at DAL ($11,100): Who in the world on the Mavericks is going to stop Cousins? This has all the makings of a huge mismatch that Cousins should be able to exploit in a big way. Add in the fact that he has provided at least 50.3 FanDuel points in each of his last six games and you get huge production potential in this contest.

Myles Turner, IND at PHO ($6,100): Turner had a rough outing Monday against the Warriors, but that's a terrible matchup for him. He's been solid on the season overall, averaging 29.6 FanDuel points per game. While his averages of 14.4 points and 5.9 rebounds per game aren't all that impressive, his value takes a leap forward when you also consider that he is averaging 2.2 blocks and 0.9 steals per game. He came away with 32.7 FanDuel points in a game earlier this season against the Suns, so I like this rematch for Turner on Wednesday.

John Henson, MIL vs POR ($4,700): Henson has been very productive of late as he has recorded at least 31.1 FanDuel points in three of his last five games. He provides a lot of value on the defensive end as he is averaging 1.6 blocks and 0.5 steals in only 20 minutes per game this season. The key is that he has seen increased playing time of late, having played at least 25 minutes in four of his last five games. He's pretty cheap Wednesday and I think he could come away with another valuable performance.
