FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

Tuesday night brings five games on the NBA schedule. While there aren't any really exciting matchups, there are plenty of elite players taking the court as the Cavaliers, Thunder, Pelicans and Warriors are all in action. Here are some players to consider across the price scale when crafting your FanDuel lineup:

Damian Lillard, POR at NOR ($8,800): Lillard is coming off back-to-back performances where he scored at least 41.1 FanDuel points. He continues to play a ton of minutes this season and has played at least 36 minutes in each of his last eight games. Tuesday brings a favorable matchup against the Pelicans who allow an average of 51.4 FanDuel points per game to opposing point guards, which is fourth most in the league.

Klay Thompson, GS vs. PHI ($7,200): Thompson is averaging 30.3 FanDuel points per game this season, but he has seen that increase of late as he has scored at least 36.3 FanDuel points in three of his last four games. There have been no shortage of minutes for Thompson as he is averaging 35 minutes per game since Kevin Durant (knee) went down. Look for him to continue to keep things rolling Tuesday against the Sixers.

Reggie Jackson, DET at CLE ($5,200): Jackson has had an up and down season, but is riding a bit of a high of late as he has scored at least 27.8 FanDuel points in four of his last five games. He played well against these same Cavaliers last week when he scored 29.9 FanDuel points. That's not a fluke as the Cavaliers allow the sixth-most FanDuel points per game to opposing point guards. Jackson has the potential to be a nice cheap option Tuesday.

LeBron James, CLE vs. DET ($11,200): James dominated the Pistons last week when he scored 60.6 FanDuel points. He has been hot overall lately as he has scored at least 55.9 FanDuel points in five of his last six games. Don't expect the Pistons to be able to provide much resistance Tuesday.

Dario Saric, PHI at GS ($7,700): Saric has been nothing short of brilliant lately for the Sixers and has scored at least 33.6 FanDuel points in 12 of his last 14 games. While he continues to excel on the offensive end, he has also recorded at least two steals in three of his last four games. The Sixers will need a big performance Tuesday if they are going to keep pace with the Warriors, so look for Saric to get the opportunity to shine again.

Al-Farouq Aminu, POR at NO ($5,200): Aminu has quietly put together a solid stretch of late as he has scored at least 25.9 FanDuel points in five of his last six games. The key has been a slight increase in playing time as he has averaged 33 minutes per game over those six games compared to 29 minutes per game on the season overall. He's cheap enough Tuesday to take a chance that he continues his recent success.

Andre Drummond, DET at CLE ($8,000): Drummond had a big performance last week against the Cavaliers as he recorded 20 points and 16 rebounds on his way to 42.2 FanDuel points. He continues to have a monster season as he is averaging 14.8 points, 13.9 rebounds, 1.7 steals and 1.1 blocks per game. The beauty of DFS is you don't have to worry about his terrible free-throw percentage, so you can play him with confidence again Tuesday.

Myles Turner, IND at NY ($6,200): Turner hasn't really put up flashy numbers lately as he has failed to score more than 27.5 FanDuel points in any of his last five games. However, he has a favorable matchup Tuesday against the Knicks as they allow an average of 49.9 FanDuel points per game to opposing centers, fifth most in the league. Turner also had success against the Knicks back in January when he scored 37 FanDuel points against them. He presents value as a mid-tier option Tuesday.

Zaza Pachulia, GS vs. PHI ($4,400): The Sixers allow the most FanDuel points per game to opposing centers at 53.5 per game. Pachulia managed to score 29 FanDuel points in only 15 minutes in a game against them at the end of February, so he may not even need significant minutes to put up valuable numbers again. If you want to go cheap at center Tuesday, Pachulia is your man.
