FanDuel NBA: Tuesday-Wednesday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Tuesday-Wednesday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

Both conference championship series are finally set, creating FanDuel contests that cover Tuesday's and Wednesday's action. Let's get right down to business and examine some of the better players to consider across the board for your entry…

Stephen Curry, GS vs. SA ($10,000): Curry crushed the Spurs in Game 1 with 54.9 FanDuel points in a comeback victory. With Kawhi Leonard (ankle) likely out of action for Game 2, the Spurs' defense is down its best player. Don't be surprised to see Curry explode again offensively.

Kyrie Irving, CLE at BOS ($8,800): Irving has been excellent in the playoffs and has scored at least 40.5 FanDuel points in three of his last four games. While known more for his scoring, Irving dished out at least nine assists in each of those three games. Look for him to continue his productive ways in Game 1 against the Celtics.

Manu Ginobili, SA at GS ($3,000): Ginobili has turned back the clock lately while Leonard has been injured, scoring at least 23.7 FanDuel points in two of his last three games. The key is he saw at least 26 minutes in both of those contests after playing no more than 19 minutes in any of the other playoff games this season. The price is right to give Ginobili a shot with Leonard likely out again.

LeBron James, CLE at BOS ($12,500): James has been a freight train in the playoffs, scoring at least 50.8 FanDuel points in all eight games. He logs a ton of minutes and can contribute in all categories across the board, making him worth using even at this expensive price in Game 1.

LaMarcus Aldridge, SA at GS ($8,800): Aldridge becomes the focal point of the Spurs offense with Leonard likely out of action. He was excellent in Game 1 as he posted 44.1 FanDuel points. Even with Leonard playing, Aldridge has posted at least 36.3 FanDuel points in four of his last five games. He has the potential for a big performance in Game 2.

Jonathon Simmons, SA at GS ($4,600): Simmons started Game 6 against the Rockets when Leonard was sidelined and came through with 25 FanDuel points. While he won't provide a ton of rebounds, he has scored at least 12 points in each of his last four games and has a combined six steals over that same stretch. It's hard to pass him up at this cheap price considering the opportunity he should see in Game 2.

Al Horford, BOS vs. CLE ($8,000): Horford closed out the series against the Wizards strong as he scored at least 30.7 FanDuel points in each of the last three contests. While he doesn't grab as many rebounds as traditional centers, he has dished out at least five assists in three of his last four games. With limited players to choose from at center, Horford is one of the best options.

Tristan Thompson, CLE at BOS ($5,100): This series is a strong matchup for Thompson, as the Celtics really struggle to rebound. While not a major offensive threat, Thompson has grabbed at least 10 rebounds in six of the Cavaliers' eight playoff games. The price is right to roll with Thompson if you are looking to save money at center, as his rebounding numbers could be off the chart.
