DraftKings NBA: Sunday Cheat Sheet

DraftKings NBA: Sunday Cheat Sheet

This article is part of our DraftKings NBA series.

The NBA finishes the week with seven games on the schedule Sunday. Some of the best teams in the league will be in action as the Golden State Warriors, San Antonio Spurs and Cleveland Cavaliers will all take the floor. Here are some of the players to consider for your DraftKings entry.

Guards

Stephen Curry, GS vs. DET ($9,100): Curry has been a model of consistency this season as he has scored at least 42.8 DraftKings points in each of his last five games. Offense continues to be the name of the game for Curry as he is averaging 27.7 points and 3.7 three-pointers per game. Expect him to stay on a roll Sunday.

De'Aaron Fox, SAC vs. WAS ($5,800): Less than two weeks into the season, the Kings have decided to sit George Hill Sunday for rest. You can call it rest, but they likely are looking to get more playing time for some of their younger players as they continue the rebuilding process. Fox should see increased minutes Sunday, leaving him with the potential to out produce his price point.

Bogdan Bogdanovic, SAC vs. WAS ($4,200): After missing the start of the season, Bogdanovic has returned to average 11.0 points, 2.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.0 steal in two games. He played 25 minutes in each game, but could also be in line for more playing time Sunday with Hill out of action. At this price, he is worth the risk if you need to save money at guard.

Forwards

Kevin Durant, GS vs. DET ($9,800): Durant is coming off his best game of the season Friday against the Wizards where he scored 61.3 DraftKings points. He's having yet another excellent season overall as he is averaging 50.5 DraftKings points per game. Expect elite production from him again in this contest against the Pistons.

Otto Porter, WAS at SAC ($7,100): Porter has been excellent out of the gate this season as he is averaging career highs in points (19.2), rebounds (8.0), assists (2.2), steals (2.8) and three-pointers (2.4) per game. He's scored at least 46.5 DraftKings points in three of five games this season and could be in line for another big performance against a bad Kings team.

Frank Kaminsky, CHA vs. ORL ($5,000): When Kaminsky is shooting it well, he's a valuable option for DFS. He has shot at least 50 percent from the field in three of five games this season, averaging 31.6 DraftKings points in those three games. He shot a combined 4-for-20 from the field in the other two games, averaging 13.5 DraftKings points in those contests. At this price, it's worth taking the risk that his shot will be falling Sunday.

Centers

Nikola Jokic, DEN at BKN ($8,900): While Jokic's scoring is down slightly this season, he is averaging a double-double (14.4 points and 11.2 rebounds) for the first time in his career. He continues to be an excellent passer down low as he is averaging 5.0 assists per game. The Nets have a severe lack of talent up front, so look for Jokic to excel in this game.

Dwight Howard, CHA vs. ORL ($7,700): While his career wasn't exactly in jeopardy, Howard has returned to his dominant ways with the Hornets as he is averaging 14.4 points, 17.4 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game. His struggles from the free-throw line don't matter in DFS, evident by his average of 41.4 DraftKings points per game. Look for another big performance against one of his former teams in the Magic.

Skal Labissiere, SAC vs. WAS ($4,400): Not only are the Kings resting Hill Sunday, but Zach Randolph also won't play. Labissiere should be one of the players to see extra playing time with Randolph out. He's averaging 12.2 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.0 block in 23 minutes per game this season. With the added minutes against the Wizards, he could provide excellent value at this cheap price.
