DraftKings NBA: Sunday Cheat Sheet

DraftKings NBA: Sunday Cheat Sheet

This article is part of our DraftKings NBA series.

Sunday's NBA main slate on DraftKings includes eight games with the Houston Rockets, Oklahoma City Thunder and San Antonio Spurs all in action. There are a lot of great options to pick from for your lineup on both ends of the price scale. Let's end the week on a high note with the players below.

Guards

Kyrie Irving, BOS at ORL ($8,500): Irving is off to a great start for the Celtics and is averaging 41.2 DraftKings points per game. This is an excellent matchup against a Magic team that is allowing an average of 48.9 DraftKings points per game to opposing point guards. Expect Irving to be one of the most productive point guards in DFS Sunday.

Tyreke Evans, MEM at LAL ($5,800): Evans has been a perfect fit off the bench for a Grizzlies team that has struggled to find shooting in recent years. Evans scored 20 points Saturday against the Los Angeles Clippers and has scored at least 19 points in four of his last five games. Get him in your lineup at this price Sunday.

Donovan Mitchell, UTA at HOU ($3,800): Mitchell has provided the Jazz with much needed offense off the bench by averaging 13.1 points and 1.7 three-pointers in only 25 minutes per game. He has really caught fire of late, scoring at least 33.8 DraftKings points in three of his last four games. The Jazz will need all the offense they can get from Mitchell to hang with the Rockets, which could make him the steal of the evening at this price.

Forwards

LaMarcus Aldridge, SA vs. PHO ($8,300): Aldridge is playing like he was in his days with Portland as he is averaging 22.6 points, 8.4 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.3 blocks per game. He averaged at least 21.1 points per game in each of his last five seasons in Portland, but had failed to average more than 18.0 points per game in his first two seasons with the Spurs. This is a favorable matchup Saturday against a Suns team that allows 52.5 DraftKings points per game to opposing power forwards.

Tim Hardaway Jr., NY vs. IND ($6,100): After a terrible start to the season, Hardaway has finally settled in with his new team by scoring at least 31.8 DraftKings points in three of his last four games. He has been hot from behind the arc, shooting 16-for-41 on three-pointers over those four games. Look for another high scoring performance against a porous Pacers defense.

Kyle Anderson, SA vs. PHO ($4,300): The Suns are allowing an average of 117.0 points per game this season, so to say they struggle defensively is an understatement. Anderson has been a valuable member of the Spurs bench, averaging 8.3 points and 7.0 rebounds per game. If this game gets out of hand, Anderson could be in for extra playing time. If you need a cheap forward, Anderson is worth the risk at this price.

Centers

Myles Turner, IND at NY ($7,000): Turner made his return from a concussion Friday against the Sixers and scored 30.3 DraftKings points in 24 minutes off the bench. Expect him to see more playing time Sunday against a Knicks team that has a lot of size up front. While the Knicks do have depth at center, they aren't great defenders as the Knicks are allowing an average of 54.1 DraftKings points per game to opposing centers.

Dwight Howard, CHA at MIN ($6,800): Howard continues to be a double-double machine for the Hornets as he is averaging 14.8 points and 14.2 rebounds per game. While Timberwolves' center Karl-Anthony Towns is an elite scorer, he's not strong defensively as opposing centers are averaging 58.6 DraftKings points against Minnesota. Howard could be in line for another hefty double-double.

Alex Len, PHO at SA ($4,600): Len continues to come off the bench for the Suns, but he's still been productive as he is averaging 8.8 points and 8.8 rebounds per game. The Spurs have a big frontcourt of Aldridge and Pau Gasol, so Len might be needed to play more than normal. If the game also gets out of hand, he could get more minutes than starting center Tyson Chandler. There are a lot of things that could fall Len's way Sunday, making him one of the better cheap options at center.
