DraftKings NBA: Monday Cheat Sheet

DraftKings NBA: Monday Cheat Sheet

This article is part of our DraftKings NBA series.

The NBA starts off the week with nine games on the schedule Monday, giving you plenty of options for you DraftKings entry. Let's get right down to business and focus on the players that will hopefully help you bring home some money.

Guards

Lonzo Ball, LAL at PHO ($7,300): Ball is coming off of his first career triple-double Saturday against the Milwaukee Bucks. He just missed a triple-double against the Suns earlier this season when he scored 29 points to go along with 11 rebounds, nine assists, one steal and four three-pointers. His percentages don't kill you in DFS, making him a great option Monday.

Lou Williams, LAC vs. PHI ($5,600): Williams is coming off of a rough shooting night against the New Orleans Pelicans Saturday when he scored 14 points on 5-of-16 from the field. The key is he played 36 minutes with Patrick Beverley (knee) out of action. Beverley has already been ruled out for Monday, making Williams a nice value play.

Austin Rivers, LAC vs. PHI ($5,500): Rivers has played well of late as he has scored at least 29.5 DraftKings points in three of his last four games. He is averaging a career-high 32 minutes per game and will also benefit from Beverley's absence. Putting both Rivers and Williams in your lineup can give you two cost effective options with upside.

Forwards

Giannis Antetokounmpo, MIL vs. MEM ($10,800): Giannis continues to be a monster in DFS as he is averaging 57.4 DraftKings points this season. He's been even better of late, scoring at least 59.8 DraftKings points in each of his last three games. Expect him to provide elite production again Monday.

Tim Hardaway Jr., NY vs. CLE ($6,200): Hardaway was awful Saturday against the Sacramento Kings as he finished with only 13.0 DraftKings points. He's been productive on the season overall though as he is averaging 16.3 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.1 steals and 2.3 three-pointers per game. The Cavaliers are terrible defensively, so look for Hardaway to get back on track in this game.

Thabo Sefolosha, UTA vs. MIN ($3,700): Sefolosha started at power forward Saturday against the Brooklyn Nets as Derrick Favors started at center for the injured Rudy Gobert (knee). Sefolosha took advantage of the extra minutes as he finished with 31.8 DraftKings points. At this dirt cheap price, he's worth taking a chance on Monday with Gobert out of action again.

Centers

Kristaps Porzingis, NY vs. CLE ($9,600): Porzingis has been an offensive force for the Knicks this season as he is averaging 30.4 points and 2.1 three-pointers per game this season. He's also averaging 7.3 rebounds and 2.3 blocks, giving him tremendous value. He scored 54.0 DraftKings points against the Cavaliers earlier this season and should have another big game Monday.

Derrick Favors, UTA vs. MIN ($4,600): Favors played a season-high 36 minutes Saturday with Gobert sidelined and cashed in with 46.0 DraftKings points. He's averaging 11.4 points and 5.0 rebounds in 27 minutes per game this season, so the extra playing time can give him a big boost in value. Take advantage of him at this cheap price while it lasts.

Marquese Chriss, PHO vs. LAL ($4,000): Chriss has seen an increase in playing time of late as he has played at least 21 minutes in each of the last three games. The results have been positive as he scored at least 26.8 DraftKings points in two of those games. Not only can he rebound and block shots, but he is also averaging 1.1 three-pointers per game. If you want to take a chance on a very cheap center, Chriss has potential against the Lakers.
