FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

Wednesday brings a relatively light schedule in the NBA with only five games for the evening. There are still great options to choose from for your FanDuel entry as LeBron James, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Karl-Anthony Towns will all take the floor. Let's take a look at some of the best valuable plays that you want to consider for your squad.

Guards

Bradley Beal, WAS at MIN ($8,300): Beal is off to an excellent start this season as he's averaging career-highs in points (24.2), rebounds (4.6), assists (3.5) and steals (1.3) per game. The Wizards are going to need him to continue to put up big numbers with John Wall (knee) out of action. Beal's 29.3% usage rate already ranks him 16th in the NBA, so he should be up to the task again Tuesday.

Eric Bledsoe, MIL at SAC ($7,000): The Bucks haven't taken off since the addition of Bledsoe, but it hasn't been his fault as he has scored at least 36.9 FanDuel points in four of his last five games. Seldom-used point guard Patrick McCaw started for the Golden State Warriors in place of Stephen Curry (hand) Monday and lit up the Kings for 16 points, seven assists and four steals. That makes using Bledsoe all the more enticing Tuesday.

Tim Frazier, WAS at MIN ($4,900): Frazier started in place of Wall on Saturday but managed only 21.6 FanDuel points. The good news is he played 28 minutes and should get significant playing time with Wall again for this game. The Timberwolves allow the seventh-most FanDuel points per game (46.9) to opposing point guards, making Frazier appealing at this price.

Forwards

LeBron James, CLE vs. MIA ($12,000): James continues to provide elite production as he has scored at least 50.7 FanDuel points in six of his last seven games. While this is the second night of a back-to-back, he played only 31 minutes in Monday's lopsided win against the Philadelphia 76ers. Look for him to have a big game against his former team.

Otto Porter Jr., WAS at MIN ($7,300): The Wizards' first game without John Wall provided great returns for Porter as he scored 51 FanDuel points in 36 minutes. He has tremendous upside when he's hot as he has scored at least 50 FanDuel points in a game three times this season. The Timberwolves are tied for the fifth-most points allowed per game (108.3) in the league, so expect Porter to produce again in this contest.

Bobby Portis, CHI vs. PHO ($4,800): While it wasn't anything to write home about, Portis scored 20.1 FanDuel points when these teams met earlier this season. The good news with Portis is that he is averaging a career-high 23 minutes per game due to the Bulls lack of depth, resulting in at least 20.1 FanDuel points in five straight games. Considering the Suns allow the most points per game (115.9) in the league, take a chance on Portis in tournament play.

Centers

Hassan Whiteside, MIA at CLE ($8,400): Whiteside has hit a bit of a rough patch as he has scored 24.8 FanDuel points or less in two of his last three games. Although he has been limited to 14 games this season with a knee injury, he has still managed to score at least 43.4 FanDuel points six times. With the Cavaliers starting the much smaller Kevin Love at center, Whiteside has the potential to have a dominant game in the post and on the glass.

Willie Cauley-Stein, SAC vs. MIL ($6,300): The Kings rotations are frustrating as no player on the team is averaging more than 26 minutes per game this season. Cauley-Stein has been moved to the second unit, but is actually averaging more minutes per game off the bench (30) than he did as a starter (24) earlier in the season. The results have been encouraging as he has scored at least 33.7 FanDuel points in five of his last six games. Take a chance that he continues his recent success against an undersized Bucks team Tuesday.

Robin Lopez, CHI vs. PHO ($5,000): Lopez has seen his playing time decrease since the return of Portis from suspension, but that shouldn't be an issue Tuesday against a big Suns frontcourt. He scored 27 FanDuel points in 30 minutes when these two teams met earlier this season. Considering he has averaged 27.9 FanDuel points in seven games where he played at least 30 minutes this season, he makes for a viable option based on his low cost.
