FanDuel NBA: Monday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Monday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

Monday brings 11 games in the NBA, leaving plenty of options to choose from for your FanDuel entry. With several teams dealing with multiple injuries, there are some really intriguing value plays available. Here are some players across the price scale that you should consider for your entry.

Guards

Victor Oladipo, IND vs. NY ($9,200): Oladipo continues to be an excellent fantasy option as he has scored at least 49.1 FanDuel points in four of his last five games, two of which he scored at least 68.4 FanDuel points. The Pacers rely on him heavily to produce offense, as his 30.2% usage rate ranks tenth in the NBA. The Knicks area dealing with a lot of injuries right now, leaving Oladipo with another chance to be a valuable part of your entry.

Devin Booker, PHO at PHI ($7,000): The Suns continue to be one of the worst teams in the league, but their lack of overall talent only gives Booker even more value. Not only is he averaging career-highs pretty much across the board, but his 29.1% usage rate ties him for fifteenth-highest in the league. Both the Suns and Sixers are in the top-four in the league in terms of pace of play, so expect another big offensive performance from Booker Monday.

Tomas Satoransky, WAS at UTA ($4,800): Satoransky continues to excel in a more prominent role with John Wall (knee) out of action, even though he's coming off the bench. Although he hasn't played more than 28 minutes in any of his last three games, he still scored at least 25 FanDuel points in all three contests. Tim Frazier continues to start, but Satoransky is the one you want to play out of the two.

Forwards

Giannis Antetokounmpo, MIL at BOS ($12,400): The Celtics are a tough defensive team, but Giannis is pretty much matchup-proof at this point. The Bucks already faced the Celtics once this season and he dominated with 37 points, 13 rebounds, three assists and three steals. His 33.4% usage rate is fifth-highest in the NBA and the addition of Eric Bledsoe has helped keep opposing defenses honest. He'll cost you a ton, but he should still be worth it Monday.

Ersan Ilyasova, ATL vs. BKN ($5,600): The Hawks really need Ilyasova right now as they are extremely thin up front. He only scored 24.2 FanDuel points against the Nets on Saturday, but he struggled to shoot only 3-of-11 from the field. If he can get a few more of those to fall at home Monday, he could provide excellent value. The Nets play at the third-fastest pace (105) in the league, so the opportunity will be there for Ilyasova.

Michael Beasley, NY at IND ($5,000): The Knicks will be without Tim Hardaway Jr. (leg) and Kristaps Porzingis (ankle/illness) on Monday, leaving a lot of shot attempts up for grabs. If you need someone to put up shots, Michael Beasley is your man. He has played well as an injury fill-in this season, averaging 18.3 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists in three starts. The Pacers play at the ninth-fastest pace (101.3) in the league, so Beasley is going to have a chance to score in bunches Monday.

Centers

Joel Embiid, PHI vs. PHO ($10,400): Embiid continues to lead a talented Sixers team with the third-highest usage rate (34.1%) in the NBA. The Suns have a lot of size up front, but can't seem to settle on a rotation and don't defend the position very well. They haven't been able to stop anyone in general really as they have allowed the most points per game (115.8) in the NBA, The only concern here is a possible blowout, but Embiid is used to putting up big numbers even in limited minutes.

Enes Kanter, NY at IND ($6,600): Kanter has put up two big double-doubles since returning from injury, scoring at least 40.2 FanDuel points in both contests. He, too, will be needed to shoulder more of the offensive load with Hardaway and Porzingis out, which is great news considering the Pacers allow the most FanDuel points per game (60.8) to opposing centers. He has the potential to be one of the better mid-tier priced options at center Monday.

Miles Plumlee, ATL vs. BKN ($3,700): Plumlee has only played in three games this season, but one of them was a start against the Nets on Saturday, when he scored 23.4 FanDuel points in 19 minutes. The Hawks don't really have many options up front, so he should see similar playing time Monday even if he doesn't start. If you want to take a risk in tournament play on a center who will cost you very little, Plumlee is a viable option.
