ANALYSIS
Goldberg has proven to be a very valuable commodity for the Rams over the last few years. He's not good enough to start but he's a smart wily vet who can jump in and play any position on the line with the exception of center. He is expected back in 2012 to assume the same role.

After years as the club's primary back-up all along the line it looks as though Goldberg will be starting at right guard when the season begins.

Goldberg proved himself as the most versatile back-up O-lineman in the league in 2008 by starting at least one game at every offensive line position except center. He's seen a lot of action in mini-camps as the starting RT but we expect rookie Jason Smith to hold that job by the time the season starts with Goldberg backing him up.
