Sims played in 15 games while with the Eagles in 2012 but didn't play in 2013. He'll add depth in the secondary but it's hard to see him having much of a role.

Sims will compete for a backup roster spot with Philadelphia. With all of Kenny Phillips, Patrick Chung and Earl Wolff locked in ahead of him, Sims will have his work cut out for him.

Sims was signed off of waivers mid-season in 2011. He will battle for a roster spot to provide depth in the Browns secondary and contribute on special teams.
