Three tournaments in June now for Pinckney have resulted in three missed cuts. He finished round one at two-under, two shots inside the cut line, and continued to look strong at four-under through nine holes on Friday, but was derailed by a triple bogey on the par-three 10th, which led to a downward spiral and a closing nine-hole total of five-over-par. Pinckney will look to forget about his recent meltdown with a solid performance at this week’s Barracuda Championship.
