FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

FanDuel participants face a light schedule Tuesday as there are only four games on the NBA slate. Some of the best players in the league, such as LeBron James and Russell Westbrook, are in action, but let's take a look at some of the best bargains available on FanDuel.

Tuesday Value Plays

Point Guard

Reggie Jackson, DET, $4,400: Jackson struggled in the first half of his debut game with the Pistons on Sunday but played better in the second half as he calmed down and finished with 27.5 FanDuel points. He played 30 minutes Sunday with the Pistons giving him the starting job from jump street. Jackson is going to see plenty of playing time again and is going to get plenty of chances to score, making him a strong value play Tuesday against the Cavaliers.

Shooting Guard

Rodney Stuckey, IND, $5,100: Stuckey is a streaky player and is currently on a hot streak. He has scored 30 points in back-to-back games, resulting in at least 42.4 FanDuel points in both contests. The key is that he is seeing more playing time as he has played at least 27 minutes in four of his last five games. The Thunder aren't exactly defensive juggernauts, so Stuckey could be a strong play at a cheap discount Tuesday if he can stay hot.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, DET, $5,000: The Pistons really like Caldwell-Pope and have been giving him significant playing time of late as he is averaging 32 minutes over his last three games. He has scored at least 24.2 FanDuel points in three of his last five games and generally doesn't throw up many duds, especially considering his price. KCP isn't going to provide a ton of rebounds or assists, but he does just enough across the board when combined with his scoring numbers to be a solid play again Tuesday.

Small Forward

James Johnson, TOR, $4,500: Johnson has been starting of late, leaving him with increased value. He's not a major offensive weapon, but he provides a lot of value on the defensive end as he is averaging 2.0 blocks and 1.5 steals over his last four games. Johnson put up a monster 47 point performance on FanDuel Saturday against the Rockets, but that shouldn't be expected from him too often. He averaged 21.7 FanDuel points in four games before Saturday and had 23.5 points Monday, which is solid considering his price. Expect much of the same from him again Tuesday.

Power Forward

Serge Ibaka, OKC, $7,200: Ibaka's price tag isn't exactly a bargain basement deal, but he is still a solid value play based on his recent production. He has scored at least 36.9 FanDuel points in each of his last three games, two of which he had at least 44.4 points. Ibaka provides tons of value on the defensive end as he has recorded at least three blocks in seven of his last nine games. The reason his production has increased of late is that he has increased his scoring, averaging 19.0 points over his last three games. Ibaka should continue to be looked upon to score more with Kevin Durant (foot) out again Tuesday, making him nice play.

Center

Enes Kanter, OKC, $6,200: Kanter has adjusted nicely to his new team, posting a double-double in both games since he was traded. He has posted at least 28.6 FanDuel points in both games with the Thunder and continues to provide a solid return despite the fact he barely contributes on the defensive end. Like Ibaka, Kanter will be counted on to provide offense with Durant out due to injury. He has a solid sticker price again Tuesday, making him a nice play.

Timofey Mozgov, CLE, $5,700: Mozgov is certainly not a flashy option, but take note that he has posted at least 23.8 FanDuel points in seven of his last eight games. He doesn't score a ton, but he is a solid rebounder and has recorded at least two blocks in three of his last five games. Cleveland is facing the Pistons' big frontcourt Tuesday, meaning Mozgov should see heavy minutes as long as he can stay out of foul trouble. Look for him to be a solid option at a cheap price again Tuesday.
