FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

Tuesday night is a quiet slate with only four games on the schedule. Although there aren't many teams playing, we do get some of the best, including the Grizzlies, Thunder, Rockets and Jazz. There aren't a ton of options available when creating your lineup, but that doesn't mean there aren't some great ones out there. Let's take a look at some of the better options:

Russell Westbrook, OKC at MIA ($13,000): Westbrook has been on an insane hot streak, scoring at least 60.9 fantasy points in each of his last five games. I can throw out a ton of crazy stats that show how valuable he is, but the simple fact is that Westbrook is a triple-double threat whenever he takes the floor. I don't care about his high price, I'm still playing him.

Tyler Johnson, MIA vs OKC ($5,600): Johnson is averaging a career-high 31 minutes per game this season and has come through with averages of 13.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.2 steals per game. While he has had a couple of big performances, he's been steady overall, averaging 26 fantasy points per game. The Heat are going to need all the offense they can get to keep up with Westbrook, making Johnson worth a shot at this price.

Tony Allen, MEM at BOS ($4,400): Allen has had some productive games of late, scoring at least 21.8 fantasy points in five of his last seven games. He's not a big scorer, but his ability to rebound and defend gives him value. My gut tells me there is potential for Allen to provide value at this price against his former team.

Gordon Hayward, UTA at LAL ($7,800): Hayward has had a couple monster performances lately, scoring least 41.5 fantasy points in two of his last four games. He's averaging 35.5 fantasy points per game this season as he has helped lead the Jazz to an excellent start. These two teams met earlier this season and Hayward came away with 39.7 fantasy points.

Luol Deng, LAL vs UTA ($5,000): Deng is only averaging 19.6 fantasy points per game this season, but he has stepped it up of late, averaging 28 per game over his last 10. The key is that he has seen more minutes due to injuries and Brandon Ingram's poor play. He should see increased minutes again Tuesday, making him a nice value play at this price.

Amir Johnson, BOS vs MEM ($4,300): You don't hear much about him, but Johnson has scored at least 20.7 fantasy points in each of his last three games. While that's not massive production, it's valuable for someone this cheap. The Celtics will need his size and rebounding against the Grizzlies, so I'd take a chance if you want to save money at power forward.

Rudy Gobert, UTA at LAL ($7,900): Gobert continues to dominate, as he has posted a double-double in each of his last 10 games. With averages of 12.5 points, 11.9 rebounds and 2.6 blocks per game, he provides a lot of value. Like Hayward, Gobert also had success against the Lakers earlier this season when he scored 46.9 fantasy points.

Steven Adams, OKC at MIA ($5,700): Adams will be given the difficult task of trying to slow down Hassan Whiteside, so expect him to play all the minutes he can handle. While he's only averaging 24.7 fantasy points per game this season, Adams has scored at least 30.7 in three of his last five games. I'm not expecting a huge outing, but he can still provide value at this price on a night with a light schedule.
