Alvarado joined Orlando City on a free transfer Tuesday. He's signed through the end of the season when the club can then exercise their option to extend his contract.
ANALYSIS Alvarado spent all of his career in his native Ecuador before trying his hand in MLS. He scored two goals and logged four assists in 15 appearances in 2020, and is more likely to play a role off the bench behind Daryl Dike and Nani while he tries to earn a new deal with the Lions.
