Windler agreed to a one-year contract Thursday with the Perth Wildcats of Australia's National Basketball League,
Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.
ANALYSIS
A 2019 first-round pick of the Cavaliers, Windler was slowed by injuries early on his career and has struggled to gain much traction at the NBA level. He bounced around between three teams in 2023-24, appearing in 17 total regular-season games with the Knicks, Lakers and Hawks. When healthy and given extended minutes in the G League, the 27-year-old has proven himself to be a capable perimeter shooter who rebounds well for his size, but he looks like he'll have to prove himself in the NBL before potentially making the jump back to the NBA in 2024-25.
