Vesely agreed last week to re-sign with Fenerbahce Ulker of Turkey on a three-year contact,
EuroHoops.net reports.
ANALYSIS
Initial reports in June indicated that Vesely would rejoin Fenerbahce on a two-year deal, but his contract will apparently keep him with the Turkish powerhouse through the 2018-19 campaign. The deal largely has no bearing on Vesely's opportunity to return to the NBA, as each year of the contract contains an NBA out clause that the former No. 6 overall pick in 2011 could choose to exercise. Vesely has already stated that he will remain in Turkey in 2016-17, but the 26-year-old, who has shown signs of growth as a player since flaming out of the league following stints with the Wizards and Nuggets during the 2013-14 season, remains an international player that NBA organizations will continue to track.
