Pleiss is in the process of finalizing a one-year contract with Galatasaray S.K. of the Turkish Basketball Super League, international basketball writer David Pick reports.

After being waived by the 76ers last month, Pleiss had received an invite to join the Nets for training camp, but it appears he prefers to opt for the guaranteed money overseas. At 7-foot-3, Pleiss' height alone makes him an intriguing player for NBA teams, but he was unable to carve out a consistent role in the Jazz's rotation during his rookie season. It wouldn't be surprising if Pleiss attempted to return to the NBA in 2017-18 if he performs well in Turkey.
