After beginning his college career at California, Kline transferred to Fresno State. In parts of seven games with the Bulldogs last season, Kline completed 42-of-79 (53.2 percent) passes for 523 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions. Kline will likely find himself no better than fourth on the depth chart at quarterback for Edmonton and could end up being cut from the roster before the season opens in June.
