Seibutis signed a three-year contract with his former European team, the Olympiacos.
ANALYSIS
He will likely stay with the Olympiacos until 2010, before a possible move to the NBA. The Mavericks fully expected the 6-5 guard to stay in Europe. "We look at Seibutis as a player on the upswing," Mavs general manager Donn Nelson said. "We hope to develop him possibly overseas next year and then look for him to make an impact after that. We think he has tremendous potential with the ability to play both guard spots."
