Cheever III is expected to be confirmed as the third driver in Spirit of Daytona Racing's Cadillac DPi.V-R, alongside new full-season drivers Tristan Vautier and Matt McMurry, sportscar365.com reports.

No formal announcement has been made, but Cheever was spotted in the paddock wearing SDR team gear during Thursday's Roar Before the Rolex activity. A Rolex 24 start would be the 24-year-old driver's first IMSA action since way back in 2014.
