Dale Coyne confirmed he is in discussions with Filippi about a full-time race seat with the team in 2016, reports Motorsport.com.

Filippi drove the CFH Racing car on road and street courses in 2015, and picked up a second-place finish in Toronto. He has also driven for Bryan Herta Autosport and Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing in the IndyCar series. Filippi has never raced on an oval, but is seeking a consistent full-time driver for this season versus the seven he ran last year.
