Dokken, a driver in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck series, was injured in a crash at Michigan International Speedway on Friday. Dokken's truck slammed into the fourth turn wall, forcing an extensive extrication from track workers. The roof of the truck had to be cut off in order to remove the driver. He was transported to the infield care center for further evaluation.
ANALYSIS
His condition had not been reported. Dokken's best finish this season is 14th at Memphis on June 21. Out of six races this season, he has been running at the finish once. His best career finish in the NCTS is third place at Evergreen Speedway in Washington in 1997.
