Montoya, son of ex-Formula 1 driver Juan Pablo, has joined Red Bull's Junior Team for 2023, as he looks to follow in his father's footsteps, Formula1.com reports.

The 17-year-old talent has quickly risen through the racing development leagues. Montoya advanced from karting to ADAC F4 and Italian F4 in 2020. He even made three starts last season with his father in IMSA and competed in the sports car ranks last year.
