Federico Valverde Injury: Dealing with back discomfort

Valverde suffered a knock in his lower back in the season finale against Real Sociedad after ending the 2024-25 season with 50 appearances across all competitions, scoring six goals and providing seven assists, the club announced.

Valverde had a decent and complete season, often playing in different positions on the pitch to compensate for suspensions and long-term injuries that have been numerous for the Merengues this season. He unfortunately received a knock in his lower back in the final game of the season against Real Sociedad and will now start his recovery with the aim to be fully fit in 20 days, since Real Madrid will need him for the Club World Cup.
