Whitehead will link back up with Long Island ahead of its matchup Friday with the Delaware Blue Coats. The 20-year-old forward made just his second appearance at the NBA level this season in Monday's loss to the Bulls, contributing 18 points (6-11 FG, 6-10 3Pt), two rebounds, two steals, one assist and one block over 24 minutes. The Nets were extremely shorthanded for that contest, but with the NBA team having since reclaimed some health, Whitehead wasn't expected to be part of the rotation anytime soon.
