Bound for Rice
GRice
April 10, 2020
Havsa committed Tuesday to join Rice as a graduate transfer for the 2020-21 season, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.
ANALYSIS
Havsa will be eligible to contribute right away for the Owls after averaging 5.2 points, 4.0 assists, 3.2 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 1.2 steals in 20.4 minutes per game for Utah Valley State in 2019-20. At the very least, Havsa will give Rice some added depth in the backcourt after Ako Adams and Robert Martin exhausted their eligibility and all of Trey Murphy, Drew Peterson and Josh Parrish transferred out of the program since the end of the season.
