Burris officially announced Tuesday his intentions to retire from the CFL.
ANALYSIS
At 41 years of age, Burris managed to lead the Redblacks to the team's first Grey Cup, just six years after the team was founded. He leaves the league after 20 seasons, having played with four different teams. The longtime signal-caller won three Grey Cups and two CFL Most Oustanding Player Awards and holds the league's record for most completions in a single season (481), which he set in 2015.
